Flawless Mousse - NEW!!

Get a healthy glow with Fake Bake's new sunless tanning mousse formula. Lightweight and silky-smooth, Flawless Mousse goes on easily using the included, lined applicator mitt. It buffs effortlessly - even around arm hair - and features a built-in cosmetic color guide to help you achieve an even, naturally sun-kissed look. Excellent for all skin types, Flawless Mousse is made with a non-drying, long-lasting formula even sensitive skin will love.

For use with Flawless Mousse, we suggest Fake Bake Coconut Exfoliating Wipes to prepare your skin prior to self-tan application. After tanning, use Fake Bake Oil-Free Mistifier Body Spray to nourish and hydrate your self-tan, helping it stay gorgeous for the longest time possible.

Works well but have dark spots on knees and elbows and feet get orange

I didn’t not want to give this a bad review because it does work well, but I showered exfoliated and put a dab of lotion on my knees elbows and feet where I have dry skin and the product still leaves them looking dirty and my ankles and feet no matter how lightly I go over them they get orange

Best I have ever used. No smell, no streaking, no orange. Just a beautiful tan.

    I’m Orange!

What happened to the original formula?? I am ORANGE. This stuff is horrible and for $30 I’d expect a much more BRONZE tan. So embarrassing.

    Longevity and color

I definitely prefer a mousse over a spay but this just isn't it for me. I love the other Fake Bakes but this one doesn't last long. I'm even a religious lotion applier and always exfoliate before application. I apply two coats every time and it doesn't get me that dark, also doesn't stick to my chest and lower legs that well. Very disappointed and won't buy again.

Best at-home tan! Seriously! So so easy to use and gives off great color. No streaking and no orange coloring. I also used on my face with no issues.

    Fake Bake Flawless Mouse

I usually use the liquid & I love the results but the mess of the spray has always been a point of contention. When I saw the mouse I was so excited! I will be going back to the spray. The mouse is a bit more moisturizing compared to the spray, but the drying time is substantially longer. I would wake up at night feeling sticky & by morning it still felt a little tacky. The liquid never did this. The color is alright, but not as dark as the liquid, I found myself using it for 3 nights in a row just to achieve the beautiful color of the spray. Same great smell, and the glove IS AMAZING because it has a thin plastic barrier inside so it doesn’t bleed onto my hand when applying it. No more using rubber gloves under the application glove for me! GENIUS!

    First timer w/ Fake Bake

Posted by Ashley on 7th Jun 2020

Overall, I do like the Fake Bake Mousse. Easy application w/ mitt, pleasant scent unlike most self tanners, and the color guide is nice to help show where you have applied and already give you a bit of a natural glow from the get go. I'm just disappointed in the end results though. I showered, shaved, and exfoliated the night before, left the product on for 12 hours before showering the next day. Looking in the mirror prior to showering, I could see a difference in the tan from when it was applied but after I showered, the tan almost vanished. I am pretty pale so I'm not sure if I just need to apply more layers to get a better tan or not. I just assumed with being pale, it wouldn't take much to see a difference in shades. I feel like I did the appropriate prep steps but maybe I messed up somewhere since again it was my first time w/ Fake Bake. I will say, I did not notice any streaking or blotchy spots as I would see with other self tanners. I was just disappointed in the shade. I tried taking pictures to get a before and after and they looked the same. I'm afraid the Fake Bake Darker would be too dark but maybe it's what I will try next.
